Shop for ‘Old Souls’ set to open in downtown Waterville

WATERVILLE, Maine (WABI) - “Common Goods for Uncommon Folks” is one of the slogans behind a new store set to open in downtown Waterville in the coming weeks.

Inside Old Soul Supply Company you can find everything from imported goods like vintage clothing to fishing gear.

Owner, Jessica Stetson, grew up in the Waterville area and is looking forward to getting back to her roots with this new venture.

She’s always had a love for the outdoors and fishing.

She also loves to honor Maine’s history.

She describes this storefront as a ‘modern-day general store meets trading post.’

“A lot of the stores that I would go into on the way to a camping trip growing up would just be mom-and-pop shops that had everything from ice cream to camping gear,” Stetson said. “I want people to walk in here and just experience it and enjoy it and not feel like they need to purchase anything. I just want it to feel like a breath of fresh air.”

Old Soul Supply Company is located at 103 Main Street in Waterville, previously home to Jorgensen’s Cafe.
